We are three days post-chemo, round 2. The last two days were fine – no real difference from the few days before that.
Today – lower energy for sure, but the bone pain has set in. I’m on Neulasta, which is a med to help boost my white blood cell count, and thus hopefully prevent the count drop and suppressed immune system. But Neulasta causes bone pain…. And here it is.
It’s weird – I feel it in my jaw and mouth, my wrists, and my ankles most. Somewhat in the hips and knees. It’s uncomfortable, and pain meds don’t seem to help. Small price to pay, I guess.
Mom is on her way. 😁
